It appears that each university has multiple colleges each of which confers degrees. Each university/college also has different sites for students. Each of these is being counted as a separate college. It seems to me that is not correct. The university needs to (first) be grouped by college: College of Arts, College of Science, College of Business, College of Medicine, etc. Then, and only then, can we mention that students study at different places. Does a different chancellor sign the degree at college A, at place X; and yet another chancellor signs the degree for college A at place Y? That would be the only reason to have so many "colleges" which aren't really that distinct. There must be some collusion of curricula if not exchange of professors.
