Did you know... that Eidyn, a Brittonic district of the Early Middle Ages in present-day Scotland, is the source for Edinburgh's name?
"Eidyn was the region around modern Edinburgh in Britain's sub-Roman and early medieval periods". Could you give approximate dates in the first sentence for readers who might not know what "sub-Roman" means?
