Page move
[edit]I would like to propose a move to Emily Brooke (inventor) because there's a singer with this name who appears a lot in a Google search, but I'm afraid that the move will get too many votes to oppose with the reason "singer is not notable". Any opinions here?? Georgia guy (talk) 20:49, 7 April 2021 (UTC)
- Until we have an article for the singer, there is no need to disambiguate this article. If Emily Brooke (singer) gets created, we can then discuss whether to use the unadorned name as a disambiguation page title, and move this page to your suggested title. Blueboar (talk) 00:24, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
- Do you think she deserves an article?? If the answer is no, please explain. (Also please do research to check the truth of her notability.) Georgia guy (talk) 00:28, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
- I have no idea whether she deserves an article or not. However, I can say that there is no need to disambiguate the title of this article until we have an article on some other person named Emily Brooke. Blueboar (talk) 01:29, 8 April 2021 (UTC)

There is no reason to move any article just because another article might possibly be written. If the singer is notable, create an article as Blueboar has suggested. There can then be a discussion about whether to move either or both articles to different titles. PamD 05:36, 8 April 2021 (UTC)

- @Koro Neil Good question. I hope my addition to the article answers it. PamD 06:35, 16 November 2023 (UTC)
