removal of supervolcano

[edit]

It is quite likely that the supervolcano was removed so they could fit the show into a one hour timeslot with comercials.

In Germany this segment has been shown as well. (By the way, the headline of the German news concerning the meteor was quite faulty...) --213.39.150.6 15:59, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I just watched this on UKTV History, they included the supervolcano section, it was the Yellowstone that errupted, interesting, that UKTV History has advert breaks too, yet they still included it. ¬¬¬¬

I also watched this on UKTV History (23rd Jan 2007). Is there a source for details of TV shows shown on UKTV History that can be used to edit this article and make it more accurate? 194.82.121.38 22:05, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Many of the cars used in the supervolcano segment were made for left-hand traffic. These cars are uncommon in the US, so it could have been a small reason. ¬¬¬¬

"Black Hole" section

[edit]

Why is there a section titled "Black Hole" when its content doesn't involve any black holes? 71.57.111.82 05:16, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Groundhog Day

[edit]

On the second scenario happens i.e. meteors, the guy gets into the taxi and the screen shows a movie theater playing Groundhog Day. This is a refrence to the movie where the guy experienced the same day over and over agian.

Similarities to other things

[edit]

The Topics resemble movies. Mega-Tsunami=Deep Impact, Killer Asteroid=Armageddon, Global Pandemic=Doomsday, Supervolcano=2012, Strange Matter=Quantum Apocalypse. I guess huge city-destroying disasters are popular.
