Jews of Erfurt
[edit]If more could be said about the synagogue, its discovery, the objects found, and the current renovations (a separate article could perhaps be created), it'd be great. Seems a fascinating topic, and an all too rare opportunity to have a glimpse at medieval European Jewish life. LordAmeth (talk) 18:47, 31 October 2008 (UTC)
- Agreed; the description "oldest" makes one curious. Same for "old university". Nice article Magafuzula (talk) 12:26, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
Erfurt as PHP Project
[edit]Erfurt is also a PHP Zend Project for the semantic Web. Even the DBPedia is based on this one. So I would suggest creating a Disambiguation Page: http://aksw.org/Projects/Erfurt ourima (talk) 11:44, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
- When there is a wikipedia entry for Erfurt (Software), a disambiguation link should be added at the top of the page. A disambiguation page is not needed. Erfurt (city) should stay the primary topic. Toscho (talk) 09:53, 14 November 2010 (UTC)
- Agree with Toscho on this one. Ceoil (talk) 00:49, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
Steigerwald Forest
[edit]This article mentions that the city is bordered in the south by Steigerwald forest. The only problem with this is that "Steigerwald" in that sentence links to "Steigerwald Nature Park" which, if you read the "Location" section, is not considered to be anywhere near Erfurt. If you take a look at Google Maps, you will see there is a relatively small forest indeed to the south of Erfurt labeled Steigerwald, but it is in no way related to the one bearing the same name that is being linked to in this article; it is far away and with much non-forested land inbetween. I will remove the link based on this investigation of mine, although I do not know conclusively that what I've assumed is correct. ZomgPancakes (talk) 23:42, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
- But I do. What you said is absolutely correct! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.175.206.234 (talk) 11:54, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
