It's hard to respond to "completely disagree with everything you wrote". If you could please be specific, it probably wouldn't be too hard to hash this out. Lfstevens (talk) 04:46, 27 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I give up -- do whatever you want with it. Life is too short to spend hours and hours going over your revisions word by word. This reminds me of an editor of Galaxy Science Fiction in the 70s who was obviously a frustrated writer. He spent hours going over my MSs word by word and changing everything third word for no particular reason. When I remonstrated, he gave up and published the stuff as I had originally written it. One of the stories later turned up in Del Rey's Best SF Stories of the Year. Ben Bova at Analog would correct something of mine if it was *wrong* or *ungrammatical* or *unclear*, otherwise he left his writers alone. *He* won the Hugo as best editor five or six times in a row -- the guy at Galaxy has long since been forgotten. Oh well. I tried. I was merely responding to somebody's request for a copyedit of this. Congratulations on your writing success. Lfstevens (talk) 18:20, 27 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
