Age of Death

[edit]

He was 88 years old according to a lot of sources. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.237.34.211 (talk) 22:42, 30 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • I know we can't post OR, but I believe we can and should allow OR as an indication that we should tread lightly on certain facts. I just checked the 1930 and 1940 US censuses for John Francis Cashen born in Maryland in the early to mid 1920's, and the only one that comes up is the son of Cornelius and Bridget Cashen. According to both censuses, he was born in late 1925 or early 1926. The 1930 census puts his birth around October of 1925. This article on his alma mater's website agrees with those dates: http://magazine.loyola.edu/issue/alumni/2210/legendary-leap/all/1. I won't be BOLD because this is mostly my own OR, but I thought this info might help another editor. -- But|seriously|folks  23:00, 30 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
