Speedy deletion
[edit]This player is an international soccer player who clearly meets notability guidelines. Not only is this not even close to being a candidate for speedy deletion, it is not even eligible for deletion full stop! GiantSnowman 02:56, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
- The nomination is due to attempts to find verifiability of the claim of notability here: player who earned two caps for the national team in 1981 and lack of sources to verify per WP:N and due to this lacking, and subsequent review of the stub
article, meets CSD A7 criteria. Judicatus (talk) 02:58, 28 May 2010 (UTC)- Bingo. The only odd thing is that the player's name has changed from Mike to Frank...so the page will need moving. GiantSnowman 03:01, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
- My apologies, I came up dry on various attempts to find information and assumed possible WP:O. Judicatus (talk) 03:07, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
- No worries. It's bizarre though, when I created the article, the now-dead old link definitely said he was called Mike! GiantSnowman 03:09, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
- Move. Done. Will add reference you provided, thanks for the quick clear up! Judicatus (talk) 03:15, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
