All deaths aren't tragic. A man who dies in his bed at the age of 86 does not die a tragic death. A cricketer who dies in the prime of life two weeks after playing a test match dies a tragic death I think. Nick mallory 15:38, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Although G.F. Grace was known to his family as Fred, sources generally use G.F., consistent with referring to his brothers as E.M. and W.G.. I also think a WP user is more likely to search for G.F. Grace than Fred Grace.KD Tries Again (talk) 14:14, 27 December 2010 (UTC)KD Tries Again[reply]

He was universally known as Fred. Contemporary sources tended to use initials because of Victorian formality but if you look at the two main modern sources for WG, the biogs by Simon Rae and Eric Midwinter, they consistently use EM, WG and Fred. ----Jack | talk page 19:16, 27 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
