Post-nominals

His gazette entry ("No. 32999". The London Gazette. 5 December 1924.) for the Empire Gallantry Medal lists him with the post-nominals of G.B.E. and C.M.G. The GBE is for Order of the British Empire and the CMG is for the Order of St. Michael and St. George is it not? Have these been gazetted or is the GBE related to the medal?
