Dubious sourcing

[edit]

NJZombie - loathe as I am to find myself in agreement with UPE editors, I think the 'Personal life' section of this article is pretty ropey. We're using YouTube videos as sources for some reason, there are 404 sources support content about drug use - this looks pretty poor. I'm not able to access some of the sources because I'm in the UK - would you be willing to look at cutting out anything that isn't supported by a reliable secondary source? Thanks Girth Summit (blether) 16:16, 11 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Girth Summit - Understandable, but there's really nothing in there that isn't able to be backed up with a source. Most of the sources provided existed well before I was involved with the article. I replaced the dead link concerning drug use with two links from AV Club and NPR, two reliable news sources. The YouTube video of Freeman's child has been replaced with a link to a podcast interview which backs up the simple statement that they are his child and a musician themselves. I also updated the link for one of the sources about residency that had changed. For now I had to put bare links as references as I don't have enough time to fill in all the info at the moment. The links are there though. P.S. Thanks for addressing the sock abuse as well! NJZombie (talk)
Thanks. I ran it through WP:reFill to fix up the bare URLs - worth a look if you haven't used it before. Girth Summit (blether) 10:28, 12 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! I will check it out . NJZombie (talk)
