This article needs to be moved to "General Hewett (1811)". The data from the National Archives and the EIC site both show her launch year as 1811. Acad Ronin (talk) 02:58, 21 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Acad, the only info I have regarding this ship pertains to Lord Amherst's diplomatic mission to China and none of those writings mention a launch year. If you have reliable sources that show the year as 1811 then, according to Wikipedia:Naming conventions (ships), the page ought to be moved as you say. If you don't think the move controversial, you can simply move it yourself, using the 'move' tab at the top. Otherwise you can list it at‎ Wikipedia:Requested moves. I would humbly suggest it is okay to do the former but you will need to rectify the links which you can find by clicking on the 'what links here' link in the tools section. Currently there are only five, see Special:WhatLinksHere/General Hewett (1812), so there's not much to do. If you need a hand, you can give me a shout.--Ykraps (talk) 11:04, 23 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Great. Thanks. Acad Ronin (talk) 11:28, 23 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
