Re: the speedy deletion nomination - I will proceed to rewrite the article without using sentences from the biography page of her website. --Toby44 (talk) 05:42, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have rewritten the article using only information from the biography page on her website, but it has still been detected as a duplication / copyright infringement by a bot due to similarity in things like the names of awards she's received. What steps need to be taken to remove this notice? --Toby44 (talk) 06:12, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
According to the notability requirments in WP:BAND: Note that members of notable bands are redirected to the band's article, not given individual articles, unless they have demonstrated individual notability for activity independent of the band, such as solo releases. This article has no reliable, secondary sources at all - all information appears to come from her own promotional material. I searched and was not able to find any independent sources that show that Georgia Germein meets the notability requirements as a solo musician, separate from her work with the band Germein. The listed awards, and the 2010 album, are not considered notable by Wikipedia criteria and standards. The rest of the article is basically about the band. Considering this, I propose that this article should be blanked and redirected to the band's main article. --IamNotU (talk) 23:08, 15 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
