Possibly wrong artist attributed for "Pictures of anemones"
I'm not sure that the "Pictures of anemones" is actually by Giacomo Merculiano. I think it may possibly be by Comingio Merculiano. I've recently been tagging images made available on Flickr by the Biological Heritage Library and have myself made the error of confusing Giacomo Merculiano with Comingio Merculiano (VIAF 96665057). I've attempted to look at the work and the publication it appears in but can't find anything more specific than the signature of "Merculiano" as the artist. I just thought it may be helpful to raise the possibility that there may be an issue. Ambrosia10 (talk) 07:12, 5 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
