Notoriety
[edit]How is this guy notable enough for a wikipedia article. Granted his fight against Child soldiers is heart warming, but what has he really done to set him apart from the common folk? Has he ever been featured on the news? Is he notable in the U.S. or other countries besides his own? The fact that the artist uploaded his own drawings to his own article seems to be some sort of publicity stunt.--Ghostexorcist 17:53, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
- I have added a reference tag and a notoriety tag on the main article since it does not appear to meet the guidelines covered in WP:BIO. Please see the section entitled "Creative professionals". --Ghostexorcist 18:04, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
- Well yes he is talked about in the media. The articles so i wrote after personal interview. The same discussion was led in the french wikipedia and decided that he was important enough to stay in wikipedia.
- Personal interviews are not a reliable source. Yes, the info Mr. Groud gave you was probably the truth, but a third party source is needed. --Ghostexorcist 07:37, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
The most artikles that have been written are in german and french, but since he is important for africa and many african countries speak english we decided to make an english translation.
English articles:
French articles:
- http://www.africultures.com/index.asp?menu=affiche_murmure&no_murmure=903
German articles:
He is author of several comic books and made sufficent exhibitions so his name is known and people will come searching his name.
The French Wikipedia decided to keep the article. If the English does not I personally think that would be a sorry sign of centralised view on Europe/America forgetting that there are many countries in Africa speaking english.
- Let's not play the race card here.--Ghostexorcist 07:37, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

Added Sources and removed the notability

- I still don't think notability has been established yet. --Ghostexorcist 07:37, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
- I updated the article trying to prove the written content wherever possible with citation. I believe the citation-in-text-needed flag can be removed. Ourima October 6, 2007
