I just redid this article. I'm not 100% pleased with it, some claims I didn't word with a scholarly enough voice, but it should still be useful toobigtokale (talk) 00:20, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

"Traditionally on Jeju we didn’t have noodles." He continued that the noodles were introduced during the Japanese occupation and were considered a delicacy only available to the affluent. Jeju did not have noodles before the colonized period because their preparation was very time-consuming. I have some sources in Korean too.
