Mannheim Graduate School for Economics and Social SciencesGraduate School of Economic and Social Sciences – This is the exact name of our institute as mentioned on the logo – David Biddulph (talk) 12:55, 29 October 2015 (UTC) GESS Hiwi (talk) 11:04, 29 October 2015 (UTC) Relisted. This is a contested technical request (permalink). Anthony Appleyard (talk) 15:43, 29 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • @David Biddulph: But there are many schools and colleges with that sort of purpose, and so we need to disambig by place. Move to Graduate School of Economic and Social Sciences (Mannheim)? Anthony Appleyard (talk) 15:43, 29 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Anthony Appleyard: I see that the bot for WP:RMC picked up the old version of the request at WP:RM from before the signature was changed (by contrast with the version shown in the permalink above). It wasn't actually my request, and I merely moved it as it was previously hidden in the middle of a comment and thus hadn't been parsed. The request was from @GESS Hiwi:, who now has a username block. I wouldn't argue with the logic of your reply, except that disambiguation in Wikipedia's terms would normally be when there are other articles entitled Graduate School of Economic and Social Sciences, which there aren't. --David Biddulph (talk) 15:54, 29 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support - the title is not ideal (as search term from an encyclopedic point of view). But it is the school's formal title, and there is currently no other notable topic for this exact phrase (Google search showed a few similar names, but no other exact hits). Maybe in the future a disambiguation will become necessary, but we should evaluate the current situation for now. So we should use the most accurate title and move this page.
