PBS Hotdog Special
[edit]I forget the details, and I'm not sure if it's really article worthy, but back in the day I remember PBS putting on an hour (2 hours?) long special on famous hotdog establishments. Gray's Papaya was featured on this special. I don't remember the exact details presented in it though, which i the other reason I'm not just adding it to the entry. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.173.118.9 (talk • contribs)
"Sweet Smell of Success"
[edit]I removed the claim that Gray's Papaya was referenced in Sweet Smell of Success, as that movie predates the opening of Gray's Papaya by more than 15 years. Perhaps the anon user who added it meant another papaya dog place in NY? Neilc 07:07, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
Seinfeld
[edit]Wasn't this also in a Seinfeld episode? I think Krammer had a craving and the place had similar signage like "better than filet mignon" 20:04, 2 April 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.160.23.2 (talk)
- No, it was a Papaya King hot dog, not Gray's (episode: The Movie)--Nyctc7 (talk) 17:51, 8 September 2017 (UTC)
Jay Z
[edit]Jay Z has a reference in this song..
