[edit]somebody really needs to redo the math on that thrust to weight ratio, 1.31 is just stupid, the loaded weight exceeds maximum AB thrust, and the empty weight exceeds military power thrust by more than half a ton. And you don't FLY a plane empty. I am however, too busy to even do the math. -C*******Out — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.202.14.225 (talk) 20:38, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
Sourced Top Speed
[edit]According to an article from 2018 Vladimir Karnozov writing for the Aviation International News: https://www.ainonline.com/aviation-news/defense/2018-11-13/ftc-2000g-multirole-fighter-debuts-airshow-china-2018
The top speed of the original FTC-2000/JL-9 is Mach 1.5 (1852 km/h) while the FTC-2000G top speed is Mach 1.2 (1482 km/h). While the altitude isn't given, I think that should be fairly definitive for an English language source. Semi-Lobster (talk) 00:50, 29 February 2024 (UTC)
