Size of the island

[edit]

Does anyone have any idea about the estimated size of the island? Ashmoo (talk) 15:11, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hatzegopteryx

[edit]

I don't think Hatzegopteryx should be mentioned as an example of "island gigantism". As a flying creature, its range would most likely be bigger than the island alone and thus the fact the only known specimen has been found there a mere coincidence. Nevermind its size compared with other azdarchids like Quetzalcoatlus and Azdarcho is neither sure (being a partial skeleton) nor "that" different - unlike any of the dwarf dinosaurs. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.26.120.40 (talk) 09:07, 9 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Could use a map

[edit]

A map showing both its location now (relative to current continents) and its location relative to whatever the contenients looked like then would improve the article. -- stillnotelf is invisible 13:54, 5 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

IPA for English pronunciation

[edit]

Does anyone have a source for the pronunciation in English? I've heard [ˈhætsɛg], and that'd be consistent with the Romanian value of ⟨ț⟩, namely [t͡s], but I'm not sure that's the "authoritative" pronunciation, so I wouldn't want to add it per original research. - Honsgoc (talk) 19:26, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
