[edit]There is no evidence that Habetrot is a Celtic goddess that I know of. I can't find any reference to Habetrot at all earlier than Edain McCoy's notoriously unreliable Celtic Myth and Magic, and a large number of websites quoting her.
This should either be deleted like the other pseudo-Celtic gods (Caerwiden, Dwyn), or a note given that while she's called a Celtic goddess, there's no actual evidence. MaryJones 18:01, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
There is indeed no evidence she is a Celtic goddess. She is outside the area that generally retains Celtic mythological being in an Anglic part of Scotland. She should be removed from the Celtic Mythology stubs which I shall do. Wikipedia is quite ridiculous when it comes to the Celts and tries to claim everything is Celtic in origin when it is not always the case. Sigurd Dragon Slayer (talk) 13:06, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
