I added some points to make it more relevant, i hope. Sorry!

Also, Harsh reality are cited in Vernon Joynson's book, The Tapestry of Delights :

"A heavy organ-based progressive underground rock band whose obscure album is now very rare and highly-rated by those who've been lucky enough to hear it. Thought to have been Welsh, their sound was heavily influenced by Procol Harum. Barnwell was later with Ian Matthews Southern Comfort, Roger Swallow later went on to Principle Edwards Magic Theatre and the Albion Country Band. The other members went into session work. The album's finer moments include the title cut and "Devil's Daughter"."

"Contains at least one member who was once a part of or later joined a band that is otherwise notable; note that it is often most appropriate to use redirects in place of articles on side projects, early bands and such."

I mentioned how keyboardist Steve Miller joined Caravan; I think that that is relevant.

Corrections

[edit]

I really need to put you right on one or two points.

Firstly Harsh Reality came from Hertfordshire and were previously known as 'The Freighliner Blues Band', three of the original members of the band who appeared on the Heaven and Hell album were, Alan Greed, Organ and vocals, Steve Miller Bass guitar and Dave Jenkins, guitar.

Alan went on to work with Ray Russell on the Rock Workshop albums and as a session singer.

Sandie Greed

Okay, I was only going on the sources that I had available, mainly Joynson's book. Do you have alternate sources for this information?

Fair use rationale for Image:Harshreality.jpg

[edit]

Image:Harshreality.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Another band

[edit]

I am at this moment listening to a CD by an American band by the name Harsh Reality, a minor local band from the Minnesota area (which contains members of a slightly better-known but still obscure MN band called All The Pretty Horses). I'm not surprised our band doesn't rate a page of its own, but it might at least deserve a footnote on this one. I can provide a list of the band's members from the liner of their CD "Witness To It All". 174.46.172.13 (talk) 10:01, 30 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
