The article claimed that Gloag abolished black slavery in Morocco. The citation given for this was a link to a newspaper report which quoted a Mr MacNeil, 52, from Dunblane, Perthshire, as saying that among his favourite Scots was "Helen Gloag of Muthill in Perthshire, who became Empress of Morocco and abolished black slavery there in the 18th century". A personal opinion by an unknown is not a reliable source. I have searched through various other sources relating to Helen Gloag, and none of them mentions this claim.
