Winning margin

[edit]

The winning margin (Seconds) box looks to be inconsistent with the winning margin (lengths) column. I take it that the winning margin should really be winning time, minutes:seconds. It would make a lot more sense, and the numbers would fit, if that were the case. Richard B 12:25, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

1935 women's boat race

The 1935 women's race was run over a half-mile course on the Tideway and considered the first real race James Curran (talk) 13:55, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Women's Boat Race Results

[edit]

The Women's Boat Race was part of the Henley Boat Races from 1977 to 2014 and there is now a main article on the Women's Boat Race so I will be bold and move the sections on Women's Boat Race and Reserve Race to the main article, including the full results table and background, leaving only the Henley Boat Races-related background and results here. 2017 Lightweight Men's Reserves

[edit]

Following a back and forth in the article, which is the correct result to use for the 2017 Lightweight Men's Reserves, the 26th March race or the 19 March race:

  • 26 March, Henley Boat Rcaes website: CULRC (Reserves) v OULRC (Reserves/Alumni) - Cambridge win 3 1/2 lengths[1][2]
  • 19 March, Twitter, Facebook: Oxford || 6:19 || ½ (Raced in 4+)[7][8][9]

The source must be relaible so ultimately we need the result confirmed on the Henley Boat Races Website http://henleyboatraces.com/results. Whizz40 (talk) 20:51, 4 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
