With respect to the WP:1RR restriction:
Clear vandalism of whatever origin may be reverted without restriction. Also, reverts made solely to enforce the extended confirmed restriction are not considered edit warring.
Editors who violate this restriction may be blocked by any uninvolved administrator, even on a first offence.
Its not in Israel, but in the occupied territories. Its also impossible that it includes "the entire area of Mount Hermon" since only the southern part is occupied by Israel, and I find it unlikely that Syria and Lebanon would create a nature reserve with an enemy state that occupies Syrian land. --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 08:26, 7 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It says in the article that the nature reserve was declared a nature reserve on December 6, 1974. While the last Syrian bear at Mount Hermon died in 1917. This means that the bear has no relation to the nature reserve since it died many years before the nature reserve was declared. It has relation to Mount Hermon, but not to the reserve which this article is about. --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 15:55, 11 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The natural area is Mount Hermon, not the reserve. The reserve came into existence in 1974. Everything before that is not connected to the reserve. There has never been a bear in the reserve. --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 16:10, 11 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
