Three AM call rings again

[edit]

Now that the Three AM call is back, is it time to make it a page? Hcobb (talk) 16:11, 10 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It might help if you explain what you mean by it being "back". --OuroborosCobra (talk) 20:25, 10 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The 3AM call question popped back up in the GOP debates this year. Hcobb (talk) 22:17, 10 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Again, can you be more specific? Considering that one of the criteria for having an article is notability, you need to provide something like a news article about what has happened and defending that this is now notable. Just "coming up again" in the GOP debates this year might not cut it. How has it come up again? Is it a main campaign point often getting states, or something one candidate mentioned on the side at a single debate? --OuroborosCobra (talk) 22:24, 10 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Here's a sampler of how often this has been used:

So it is in common use. Hcobb (talk) 22:31, 10 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm going to have to disagree. One of your references (ABC) isn't even contemporary, it's from the 2008 general election and is still essentially about the Clinton campaign usage. Past that, you have only two uses of it over this entire year and the many actions of the various GOP campaigns. This isn't a sign of common use, but of a strategy that is barely used. Googling it myself, I come up almost entirely with references (and satire/humor) relating to 2008, and not much anything current. It's possible that this will eventually become a more mainstream issue or talking point (Santorum also brought it up), but it doesn't seem to be right now. --OuroborosCobra (talk) 22:48, 10 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
