Reason for the creation of this page[edit]

I want to argue against the deletion of the History of the St. Louis Cardinals (1990-Present) because both the main articles St. Louis Cardinals (SLC) and History of the St. Louis Cardinals pages (HSLC) have become too long. To avert this issue, I propose transforming HSLC into a disambiguation page leading to articles corresponding to different eras and dividing the text to five different pages. Similarly, I propose splitting the History section of the SLC main page into five corresponding sections, inserting links directly to the corresponding historical era pages. I have included this same proposal on Talk:St. Louis Cardinals and Talk:History of the St. Louis Cardinals. Obviously, the 1990-present page is one of the five eras proposed. I hope these changes are not upsetting; I would like to have anyone else's input. Does this have any support? ˜˜˜˜Elcid.ruderico, 28 March 2013

Further: I have shortened the corresponding section on History topic of the SLC page. I would like to leave the HSLC page without these corresponding changes for the time being to gather others' input. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Elcid.ruderico (talkcontribs) 17:20, 28 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

La Russa[edit]

"La Russa announced his retirement, making him the first manager to end his career with a World Series win..." What do about this now that he is managing again? Say that he would have been the first or scrap it altogether? --Jameboy (talk) 14:15, 7 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
