Having a hard time reconciling these two quotes:
"By extension, the Alliance can be considered the most potent prevention against any other general wars on the continent of Europe between 1815 and 1914."
"Thereafter, Austria remained isolated, which added to the loss of her leading role in the German lands, culminating in the defeat of the Austro-Prussian War in 1866."
So did the Holy Alliance achieve piece for 99 years, or had it become irrelevant after 51? 152.130.14.7 (talk) 20:34, 22 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
