I removed the POV tag, the article holds no POV, it barely talks about where the "checkpoint" is, and how it operates!--Mayz00:45, 13 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I see that there is already a "citation needed" tag on this part of the article, but I'm interested in why there was an age limit on who could cross the checkpoint to begin with, and why it was slowly lowered before the crossing was ultimately opened. Can someone please elaborate on the reasoning behind this (for example, what pedestrian age has to do with security?).
