Contradiction

[edit]

Not strictly a contradiction but both the Poo-Chi and this article suggest that McDonalds produced a Poo-Chi and a iDog Happy Meal toy for a short while. While it's possible they did produce both a Poo-Chi and iDog, it seems more likely to me they only produced one and someone got confused. Or perhaps the toy wasn't actually an iDog or Poo-Chi, simply some sort of robotic dog (which is hardly a novel concept). Either way, it should be sourced or removed in both articles Nil Einne (talk) 19:07, 3 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I searched ebay, and found a lot of McDonald's Poo-Chi Happy Meal toys. I also found no McDonald's iDog toys. However, I found Burger King iDog toys, so I found a source (BK's financial statement) and changed the article to reflect the BK promotion. I'm bothered, though, that there's a photo from someone claiming the fast food iDog was from a McDonald's in Romania, so maybe McDonald's had the European distribution contract? That's speculation, though, and uncited, so it's not in the article. Travisl (talk) 17:20, 4 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well I own one of the McDonald's iDogs and it says "Made for McDonald's 2007" on the back. I will try and track down a reference somehow... (talk) —Preceding comment was added at 20:13, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I work at MCD in latin america, and we have given I-Dogs in our happy meal. They are I-Dogs, no Poo-Chi and they are like the picture shown in here —Preceding unsigned comment added by Teoma88 (talkcontribs) 20:19, 14 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It is very hard to find sources for old happy meal toys, though i do remember both Robo-Chi and I-Dog families of toys. The Problem hat the i dog was actually burgerking, not mc donalds. These are the only i can find (not very good either): Youtube Video of Robochi Global Serve with pics of pets Idog also a visit to ebay confirms both. Wish we could take the contradiction down —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jcdlvsrbld (talkcontribs) 21:36, 9 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Personalities and moods

[edit]

The type of music you play for the iDog affects its personality:

Tone and Plain Old Editing needed

[edit]

The tone, style, and grammar used in this article are not nearly up to par with most articles on Wikipedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.125.97.177 (talk) 17:47, 5 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

IFIs

[edit]

International financial institutions, or IFIs, refers to financial institutions that have been established (or chartered) by more than one country, and hence are subjects of international law.

Seaching for IFIs should not be redirected to this advertising of IDog. Put it back to a disambig or redirect to International financial institutions. I'm very disapointed that commercial interests Hasbro Toys are allowed priority. 99.40.191.140 (talk) 19:02, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
