Metro Boomin/ Weeknd cover

[edit]

Should we add a blurb about this recent cover, which seems notable? -KaJunl (talk) 03:21, 6 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@KaJunl: The cover version has its own article, and it's mentioned in this article's lead section. I believe that's enough. ResPM (T🔈🎵C) 10:39, 6 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Ha! I can't read apparently. I totally missed it in the lede. Agree that's enough. -KaJunl (talk) 13:32, 6 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Claim that Enya re-recorded her Boadicea vocals?

[edit]

Currently, the following statement appears early in this Wiki article: "...featuring rapper P. Diddy and re-recorded background vocals by Enya." Is this trying to say that Enya re-recorded the vocals on her song Boadicea, then provided those vocals to Mario? Or is it suggesting someone else recorded themselves singing/humming the Boadicea vocals, in a style similar to Enya? Whatever this is supposed to be saying, no source is provided. In every interview I've read, Enya or her producer Nicky Ryan say they were sampled, and don't mention that they did any re-recording. Can anyone clear this up and provide a good source? Candace66 (talk) 21:10, 21 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Candace66: I'm not sure when that statement snuck in, but the nearest citation does not mention this, so I've removed it for now. ResPM (T🔈🎵C) 21:57, 21 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That's probably the best thing to do. Unless someone comes up with a good source confirming Enya did the re-recording. Candace66 (talk) 15:24, 26 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
