Satie piece

[edit]

Re: this edit – I'm not worried about the $10,000 prize money as it was a little ambiguous from the source whether it was his own personal money or not. But the Divertissement sur le nom d'Erik Satie was, according to this, based on a series of paintings. Was this not in fact the case? -- JackofOz (talk) 06:46, 18 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The $10K business was just sloppy journalism. The painting business was a misunderstanding. There was no series of paintings involved. Mississippizez (talk) 05:23, 31 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Birth date 10 June 1963?

[edit]

Various sites (mostly astrological) assert he was born on 10 June 1963, but without any supporting documentation. Can someone confirm this with a suitable cite? -- Jack of Oz [pleasantries] 23:37, 4 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
