Country comparison
[edit]VinyS, I noticed that you reverted Adamgerber80's removal of "Country comparison" section but you did not provide any rationale for keeping the section. Why do you think the section needs to exist and what value do you think it adds to the article? I can't think of any additional understanding a reader can gain regarding the topic of India–United States relations by knowing population, area or GDP statistics of the two countries. —Gazoth (talk) 15:08, 11 June 2018 (UTC)
- @Gazoth: I am removing this for now. The editor has added it across multiple pages (ostensibly) after they saw this on pages of some other countries which were subsequently removed. I have asked the editor multiple times to, first, source it and ,second, justify it's inclusions but neither of this has happened so far. Adamgerber80 (talk) 12:21, 16 June 2018 (UTC)
- (tps) @Adamgerber80: Few more: India–Saudi Arabia relations and India–Turkey relations. Probably this one too: China–India relations. —Sarvatra (talk) 14:00, 16 June 2018 (UTC)
- @Sarvatra: Thanks. I have removed those as well. Feel free to remove them. If anyone wishes to add them, there should be a discussion if it is warranted. Further, what sources need to be provided and what is the criteria for comparison because currently this is very ad-hoc. Adamgerber80 (talk) 14:12, 16 June 2018 (UTC)

"2+2"... origins and meaning?
[edit]Was reading a news article on the latest 2+2 talks, and I'm wondering... how did the term "2+2" originate? What does it actually refer to? Two what plus two what? Would this be an appropriate subtopic for someone to add to this article? Thanks. Dave (talk) 15:07, 27 October 2020 (UTC)
Copy editing
[edit]I don't know why the IP editor reverted the entire copy edit when they can just remove the abbreviations! I'll be reverting that and continue the copy-editing — DaxServer (t · m · e · c) 07:43, 25 June 2023 (UTC)
