Guinness World Records hottest Chilli

[edit]

Strange that a couple of weeks ago Guinness listed the Infinity Chilli as the hottest with a date of February 2011 and now it says Naga Viper dated November 2010. ► Philg88 ◄ talk 13:06, Saturday February 26, 2011 (UTC)

6 Million Scovilles

[edit]

I removed this claim as: 1. It wasn't actually mentioned in the referred link. And even if it was... 2. Unless they are adding pure capsaicin extract to the dish, you can't get that heat. No matter how many chilis you add to a dish, the dish itself cannot be hotter than the hottest chili added. 20 chillis added to a curry will actually result in a scoville rating LOWER than the individual chili's. If 1 chili is 1 million scovilles, 2 of those chilis i also 1 million scovilles. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.241.9.164 (talk) 00:01, 12 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
