- I removed the Law Enforcement tag, although it seems to be in catagory "forensics" I don't know why. If anyone eventually explains it's role in forensics please feel free to put the tag back EMT1871 09:53, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
- This is why. One example for all. [1] --Shaddack 14:31, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
what about hydrogen isotopes?
[edit]It seems appropriate to have something about Hydrogen isotopes. They also indicate where the sources of water and other hydrogen compounds are, and create interesting difficulties in establishing the triple point of water.97.113.67.185 (talk) 18:36, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
shouldn't the carbon isotopes section be recast both for language and science ?
[edit]E.g., it *implies* that a) 2 = 3; b) parts per thousand = per mil; c) amount = concentration; d) fractionation = discrimination; etc. Then, numerical values are taken from derivative references from particular applications rather than from the general sources. 69.9.28.58 (talk) 19:08, 12 September 2010 (UTC)
Delete the article, since you can't re-write it
[edit]You write: "13C/12C ratio in methane in the air. In geochemistry, paleoclimatology and paleoceanography this ratio is called δ13C." It is not. 13C/12C is not called delta13C ! And when it is correctly called something, it is in all areas of study, not only in the 3 cited ! Delete the article and wait for somebody to re-write it from scratch. 69.9.28.55 (talk) 20:35, 25 January 2011 (UTC)
