Stub

I have written a stub on Jack "Putty Nose" Nicholls who was a Melbourne waterfront identity and secretary of the infamous Painters and Dockers Union.

There are plenty of sources available and the article could be expanded to cover;

his 30 criminal convictions
the lead up to his death, including concerns he had gone missing
his vision for legitimizing the union
