Restoring biography of Davis

[edit]

I am restoring this page as a bio article. I believe the reasons given for the redirect to the case page summarizing Davis' Supreme Ct Case no longer fully apply. Davis is now clearly an active candidate for national office with significant support in the race per recent polls. He is also notable for a number of things including his S Ct case, the reasons he originally switched parties, his avid anti-free trade position, his 3rd party activism including his creation of his own party, and his activation of the NY Tea Party line. In addition, the significant election law case, Davis v. FEC can best be evaluated seen by reference to a fleshed out bio of Davis, and the necessarily abbreviated bio on the Davis v. FEC article page is inadequate for this purpose. I will work further on this article in the near future, but for now, I believe it is sufficient for a stand alone article with more than 30 in line updated references which it did not have at the time the decision to redirect was made.-- KeptSouth (talk) 08:30, 20 May 2011 (UTC)KeptSouth (talk) 08:58, 20 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
