Disputes[edit]

The Cultural Influence section contains information that seems phrased to aggrandize the Jain community, rather than report on it encyclopedically. Facts need references and not merely claims that "is it believed".

Article should be revised to conform to standards. 99.53.230.93 (talk) 06:23, 12 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Although the population listed for Jains is 4.2 Million - I dispute that all of this population is Highly motivated to follow in the footsteps showcased in this study - from a dietary consideration - I'm personally aware that many Jains eat Onion and garlic and in some cases even Meats - Beliefs may be one issue but to state that all of the pouplation also adhere to this belief is questionable ?? Independent research must be conducted to verify such claims - as these are untrue for almost 60% of the case. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.12.223.200 (talk) 10:29, 21 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
