Request for correction of the date of birth.[edit]
The date of birth given in the article is not correct. The correct date of birth is December 25, 1947. Unfortunately, many websites with results of the 1972 Olympic Games also give the wrong date. As the son of Janis Rodmanis, I have tried to correct this article several times, but the date of birth has always been changed back to the wrong date.D rodmanis (talk) 14:35, 20 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your fast reply. the most recent sources of information which i can find online are the results of the last Masters regattas he has participated in. Here Janis Rodmanis' year of birth is always 1947.
By the way, Jg. is the German abbreviation for birth year.
