Death of Jean Morton.

[edit]

I remember a report on Central News that Jean Morton had died,this was,I think, in 2007.94.197.132.60 (talk) 16:35, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Pat Astley

[edit]

Several websites state that Jean Morton was married to fellow continuity announcer and Tingha and Tucker presenter Pat Astley,as someone who went to school with Pat Astley's younger son and lived for several years very near to the family in Bromsgrove I can state that this is not correct. This mishaprehension may have arisen because they were known as "Auntie Jean" and "Uncle Pat" on the programme.
