Article Name[edit]

The official name of the station is Jefferson County Government Center/Golden. It is abbreviated on the official station list page as JeffCo Gov't Center/Golden. I think that this abbreviation is a better name for this page than the Jeffco Government Center as it has been officially recognized by the RTD. I'm asking for any comments before I go ahead and redirect this page. -Killian441 (talk) 20:51, 3 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I think your plan is a good idea. Jeffrey Beall (talk) 22:35, 3 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The abbreviation is only used due to space considerations and is never used as an official name. I think the full and proper name should be given to the article unless a source can be found for local usage of something shorter. Nobody would or could speak that abbreviation, but I also doubt if the full title is commonly spoken either. Secondarywaltz (talk) 22:59, 3 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
But have redirects from both abbreviations. Useddenim (talk) 23:12, 3 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
So, use the full name, then? Epicgenius(talk to mesee my contributions) 11:56, 4 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

As per the discussion I moved the page to Jefferson County Government Center/Golden (RTD). -22:42, 6 May 2013 (UTC)
