Does wigu stand for When I Grow Up? -curious

Yes and no. I think it was something like: he registered the domain name www.wigu.com for When I Grow Up, then later decided to start another comic, and figured "Why not call it something that lets me use the domain name I already have?". --DocumentN (talk) 07:34, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject class rating

Should she be listed here as a real person? —Preceding unsigned comment added by ThomasJCyrus (talkcontribs) 20:28, 6 February 2008

Overcompensating

[edit]

Does anyone want to add an actual article for Overcompensating? Right now all that it does is redirect to this page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mynameisnotpj (talkcontribs) 12:31, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There may not be sufficient independent sources to get an article to pass Wikipedia's notability requirements. Webcomic articles with weak sources, or none at all, get deleted or merged. However, a section here may survive. A quick google yields this source:
  • Francis, Kyle (2007-03-22), Always Overcompensating (pdf), Gauntlet Publications Society {{citation}}: Cite has empty unknown parameter: |1= (help)CS1 maint: date and year (link) - half page review in what seems to be a supplement for a Calgary University Students weekly news magazine
That's the closest to a print source I can find. Others are blogs and one interview on mp3. I didn't look too far so there may be more. Why not go for it? -Wikianon (talk) 14:00, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nasty Picture?

[edit]

Do we really need the picture of his rotten leg? It's nasty, it doesn't add anything to the article, it's not referenced anywhere...I say take it out. It's lowering the tone of the page. I've removed it, if anyone really feels this needs to be here...you know what to do. -Dave —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.163.76.21 (talk) 18:52, 7 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
