Several times now the controversial aspects that were all over the Northern Ireland news just 2 days ago keep getting removed, I will continue to restore as this feels like protecting sinn fein. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Critchion (talk • contribs) 11:07, 28 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
WP:BLP is a non-negotiable policy. Saying you will continue to edit war to add content in violation of that policy is unlikely to end well for you. FDW777 (talk) 11:25, 28 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
There is the full version of the Impartial Reporter article. It says Dolan apologised, without elaborating on the content. The BBC say while another from Jemma Dolan used a slur about people with disabilities. As I have already explained to you, the verifiable content amounts to a single tweet from about 10 years ago she apologised for. It doesn't match what you added to the article, which goes significantly beyond that. Whether we include a storm in a teacup about (as is currently verifiable) a single tweet is a matter of consensus, and the objection currently is WP:NOTNEWS. Interestingly Doug Beattie's comment and Twitter usage remains on his social media but anything negative about Sinn Fein is removed. This is pure political censorship. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Critchion (talk • contribs) 12:22, 28 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No, it's a straightforward case of the content you added not matching the reference, and a single tweet from 10ish years ago not being important. Unlike Doug Beattie's joke, which resulted in him facing a vote from his party as to whether he remained as leader, and being sued for defamation. FDW777 (talk) 12:29, 28 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
