I ama direct decendent of Jesse Nathaniel Smith Sr. and Jesse Nathainal Smith Jr. I thought the artical was good, but very short. Colonizer instead of founder or settler?

Why are we using the politically loaded term 'colonizer', instead of more neutral terms like 'settler' or 'founder'? 50.47.92.208 (talk) 21:09, 30 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
