Spouse(s)
[edit]Should the spouse seciton be changed to include his first wife? I do not know any information on her but he was married before and talks about it frequently. Denisrodman88 (talk) 20:41, 2 June 2018 (UTC)
Sourcing and Neutrality
[edit]Half of the content of this page is clearly spam. I deleted for a reason. It doesn't cite any sources and its written poorly and clearly opinionated.
These "feats" of Joey Karate are garbage. If something like that is added it should cite it's sources and remain relevant to the page. Iscream22 (talk) 15:49, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
While I think this page does need to be expanded. Some of the things on here are clearly opinionated. Discussing Joeys "legendary rant" in "Classic Joey Diaz style". Wikipedia should be kept opinion free, some of his quotes should be mentioned and his appearance on Alex Jones radio program should be mentioned but it should be cleaned up so it doesn't reflect anyones specific viewpoint. Iscream22 (talk) 16:49, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
This article should not be speedy deleted because...
[edit]The article has been edited appropriately, thus should not be deleted. The article is no longer as biased and the film database is also being updated. The photo is update, need a help with some links and refernces. Work in progress. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 123.243.71.231 (talk) 17:56, 21 April 2011 (UTC) Thankyou. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 123.243.71.231 (talk) 05:36, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
Birthplace
[edit]Joey was born in Sicily. Yj.sz (talk) 15:29, 27 March 2020 (UTC)
- Hi, Yj.sz. As I mentioned in the message I left on your talk page, Wikipedia requires that the material in its articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the article text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here. There was indeed a source cited in the passage, and it quoted Diaz as saying he is Cuban, not Sicilian. I also added two additional citations, one of which is his biography from his own website, and they corroborate this. Nightscream (talk) 16:36, 27 March 2020 (UTC)
Birth name?
[edit]I just saw this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWqtNLgb8_Q
In it, Diaz says his real name is Jose Antonio. I know this is a comedy bit but the whole point of this series is these are suppose to be true stories. Besides which, it seems like an odd thing to make up for the purpose of this story. But the article says his birth name is Joey. Is there any other source for this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kronos o (talk • contribs) 19:49, 26 July 2020 (UTC)
His birth name is Jose — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.184.250.249 (talk) 09:49, 25 September 2020 (UTC)
Cat Ingested Cocaine
[edit]As per Joey's own statements in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=102&v=lDFhqs3OdMU
The section in personal life about his cat ingesting cocaine is a complete fabrication citing an editorial article, please remove it

His religious beliefs
[edit]Can I add a section on the page about Joey's religious beliefs? He has mentioned on the Joe Rogan Experience that he follows certain Santería customs despite growing up catholic, the page is locked to prevent vandalism but just wanted to see if this addition would be okay? Mr.kilroy1945 (talk) 01:52, 3 September 2023 (UTC)
- Such material can go in the Personal life section, so long as it does not violate WP:V, WP:NOR, WP:CS, WP:IRS, et al. Nightscream (talk) 16:45, 7 September 2023 (UTC)
