Big POV problems here. One cited review says, "But the steak itself was sort of tough, even by the thoroughly cooked standards of the thinly sliced beef in a cheese steak. And the roast pork sandwich, on a round and soggy roll, was disappointing through and through. The meat had so little taste it could have been mistaken for turkey. “Beige food,” my companion said. Not a bad term for it." We cite that source for "The establishment is considered among the best restaurants in America for roast pork sandwiches and cheesesteaks and was designated an “American Classic” by the James Beard Foundation in 2006."[1]

Still all positive... A few things mentioned several times in various articles, but omitted here:

  • long lines and gruff service
  • now with seating: picnic tables behind tarps
  • now they roast their own beef
  • the secret to the port is the spices and letting it sit out overnight
  • "featured on Adam Richman's Best Sandwich in America" means chosen as a wildcard for the contest, lost to DiNic's at RTM.

I'm not looking to slam the place, but right now we have a puff piece, loaded with praise, omitting anything anyone had to say that was negative or looking at the fairly shabby nature of a local joint. Balance, please? - SummerPhD (talk) 04:21, 16 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
