Sourcing, etc

In a similar way to other articles from the same spammer (see section above), this one made a number of claims for which no evidence was adduced but also claims to which footnotes were attached -- footnotes linking to pages that did not back up the claims. There was also a whole paragraph lifted from a PR release by an advertising company.

I've made a number of changes that I think have taken the article from "poor and dishonest" to "poor but honest": see this diff and its successors.

If Clang's work is significant then surely some disinterested person can edit an article on him honestly, without puffery or flimflam. -- Hoary (talk) 01:11, 16 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
