Early Naval Aviation Pioneers

Who wrote the intro to this article? Admiral Pat Bellinger was Naval Aviator #4, and stayed in aviation his entire career. Towers and Mitscher were not the only two. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 140.194.140.12 (talk) 14:38, 3 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Billy Mitchell (Army) was also an outspoken advocate of aircraft carriers, did they meet?

Are there records of whether Towers ever collaborated with Billy Mitchell? Mitchell was Army, older and got drummed out, but they did overlap and were both advocates of aircraft carriers in the interwar period. 98.7.192.88 (talk) 16:49, 20 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
