The last paragraph seems somewhat out of place: more suited for a newspaper article than an encyclopedia article. Maybe that paragraph should go in a new article about JILA. After all, I'd say JILA is pretty notable if it's produced three Nobel prizes. Isomorphic 05:35, 5 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I think the reason JILA doesn't have an article of it's own yet is that it is essentially run like another department on the University of Colorado at Boulder campus. In fact, the building design is almost a mirror of the adjacent Physics Department. While three Nobel laureates is really notable, it is a little weird to have an article on what is basically a joint university department. — Laura Scudder | Talk 23:40, 5 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
