Plagiarism

[edit]

Is there any particular reason for the plagiarism? Also, why is this article written in the form of a public relations release? Stevenmitchell (talk) 11:31, 22 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you could explain what you mean by plagiarism, that might be of help in forming an answer. --FF 11:39, 22 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Plagiarism would be the literal copying (word-for-word) of text in the article from articles posted on the internet - also the reference documents in the article itself, would be a good start... Stevenmitchell (talk) 11:56, 22 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Specify the article you think is being plagiarised. --FF 12:10, 22 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Promotional / Marketing / Press Release Language

[edit]

I deleted this sentence "Grand Challenges Canada is committed to bold ideas with big impact" because it sounded like marketing language. This exact wording can also be found on the non-Wikipedia bio page for Joseph Rotman http://www.fampeople.com/cat-joseph-rotman_2

Then after making the edit, I realized the whole page is a mess with marketing language. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.189.106.4 (talk) 01:24, 11 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
